We had our kids (her first, my only child) exactly 6 months apart.

They first thing she did when she found out she was pregnant was drop out of high school and go on welfare. The first thing I did, was start going to school part time and working full time.

That basically set the precedent for the next few years. She sat around and did nothing besides squeezing out 3 more kids, I continued working and ended up going to school (I'm working on my 4th degree).

So sad, she was my best friend. Damn near died 7 months ago giving birth to her second kid. She's been pregnant literally ..7-8 times.    

I don't even have a relationship with her anymore. She wont even ... like.. speak on the same level. It's all baby talk with her literally. Like.. no.

I am a person aside from a mother. I kind of moved over her..   sucks. I have goals though. She doesn't.

Exactly same with me. Except have ran into some issues and have needed assistance, but i am still schooling myself.
  She doesn't even want to ..try.
I had my kid at 16 she had her first at 18.. and she's like.. waaaaayyy behind me.

It makes me sad when people who don't need assistance use it because it's easier. I actually had one of the nurses at the hospital trying to make me feel guilty for NOT signing up for WIC and food stamps  

Op, I'm a soon to be "young mom" and I felt the same AT FIRST. Then I realized; I needed to get over myself. The women on here give great advice. Dont be so quick to make a call out. I did, but I see differently. BG isn't a horrible place. You'll always have the one person who wants to be "mean" or whatever but get over it. It's called opinions and life.

This is very true OP. People will always judge you, on the internet and in real life. The only difference is on the internet they're more likely to voice their judgement.

I'm a young mom but then again most of my family is that way. I got pregnant with my first at 19 had him at 20 got married at 22 and will be 23 at the end of this month. I've noticed more judgement on the outside then the cyber world but most of the judgement I get is because I look 16 (or so I've been told).

You know what I will never understand?

  Oh, and every time a teen mom acts like a dumbass and posts about how thrilled they are to be having a baby or that they're TTC, YES, many of people are going to let them know they are dumbasses.
