For a surgical abortion. When the ultrasound was done it measured 4-5 weeks. I tested a certain dark positive 2 weeks ago. And from my last menstrual cycle I should be 8 1/2 weeks. She offered the pill. I started to go ahead with it but it doesnt make sense to test positive that early and everything and measure so early. I asked her if it could be that the pregnancy didn't develop. She said its possible but was vague. I finally decided to leave. I feel like I need to know.

I'm confused.. Are you wondering if you really are only 4-5 weeks pregnant? It's very possible to get a good positive at only 3 weeks pregnant. Are you going to give it a few weeks?

Go to my doctor and see if the pregnancy is still viable. Otherwise its covered by my insurance and if im really that early i have time to decide if i want the pill or procedure.

Nvm on my first part, I was confused  

Is it easier to abort with the pill than surgically? I thought it was. If I were going to abort and was able to take the pill, I think I would definitely opt for that.

My best friend had the surgical procedure and she prefers that. She said if she ever gets pregnant again (She does not want children, ever) that she will definitely do the surgical again.

You can get a positive in weeks 4-5. I got a dark line with both of my kids by then.

It's possible to test positive in the 3rd week. I pulled a definite positive this pregnancy at 3w 4d on a First Response test.

Eta: it is possible that you were just very early.
