The toughest decision ever....

I have decided that I am not going to follow through with the pregnancy. I talked to my doctor and there is so much risk to keep going with this pregnancy. I have already had two scares, and been hospitalized once, and had surgery and I'm only 4 weeks along. With Wyatt it was a VERY complicated and miserable pregnancy. i was in the hospital ever other week and had pre-term labor three times and it all ended in an emergency c-section. I think that all in all this is the best decision. I have talked with the father and he agrees 100%. We had to put our emotions aside to think about our life.. Right now, I have a living breathing child that needs me, and if something happens to me (which my DR told me is definitely possible) that Wyatt will not have a parent. and this is just a yolk sac inside me. Thats how I have to think to get through this. Plus I still am only 18 and BD is only 19. I'm not financially and emotionally ready for two. Hell I wasn't ready for one. I know people aren't going to agree. But i think this is what I have to do for me and my family. I have prayed about it.. and I had a dream last night about me dying on the delivery table, and I feel like maybe it was a sign. I'm so scared though. I have done my research, and I think I'm going to do the RU-486. This has been the toughest and most impacting decisions of my life. Please no rude comments. I just had to get it out.. Abortion is safer than a pregnancy in the best of times. With all your complications, I am sure no one would blame you.
I did a mifeprex abortion and it was fine. Just some nausea and cramps. Really, it was just like a really heavy period.

Best of luck! I think I'd probably do the same in your position.

I had the pill. and I would go with the pill. but I would have someone take your son for overnight. I had cramps but I mean its just like being in labor but only for a few short hours.

my cousin took the pill. she had "worst period of her life" symptoms she said

Well, i moved back in with my parents for the time being because my dad had spinal surgery and I'm taking care of him.. So I might just let them keep him and go back home or something.. because I know it's going to be emotional!

Thank you everyone for the advice. I did a lot of research on it so far. They say they give you that, and a follow up pill for it to move out of you and antibiotics and pain pills. I know this is going to weigh heavy on my heart. ): I appreciate all the reassurance!!

I have to admit, I'm normally prolife, but situtations like yours are the exception. It's an awful and difficult decision you're faced with. I don't think there is any easy solution to something like this.
I try not to bring religion into BG but I'll pray for you, that whatever decision you end up making you have peace about it in your heart.
