Just curious on how long you ladies breastfed

14 months.

about two weeks for my oldest, same for my 7 year old

and roughly 7 months for my two youngest

First baby, 15 months.
Second baby, 19 months and still nursing.

3 months on the nose with DS...wish I had carried on longer though

22 months with my oldest...she was till nursing when I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd. She weaned... I had my 2nd and nursed her for about 2 months and my milk started to dwindle...it never really "came in" like with my first. And now, she is 3 months and I am dry  

6 months with first. 28 months with second. And currently bfing 5 wk old son with no plans to stop anytime soon.

DS is 6 1/2 months old and still breastfeeding.

Very weird... do you take any medications that might be the problem? Sometimes that can be an indicator of a bit of placenta somehow being left behind... either you have an INSANE oversupply or no supply at all.

She self weaned at 21 months.

I was on high blood pressure meds throughout my whole 2nd pregnancy.... and then i was still on them for a couple months after i had her. It may have been the meds I'm not sure. I also know when I was on them, my hair didn't grow and I couldn't lose any weight...they were horrible.

That does sound like it might have been the problem. I'm sorry mama   I can imagine how hard that must have been.

Yeah... I was just very sad/dissappointed that I couldn't/can't give to her what I gave to my first. Formula is....just simply not the same.

6 months. I had to go back on medication, wish I could have nursed longer, and will go as long as I can safely with my second, hoping to at least make it 6 months again.

LO is 5 months and we are still going strong!
I plan to for at least 6 months..hopefully longer though(:
