Just wondering -
How you BG moms got your kids to stop bitting ?!
My daughter constantly bites! & iv bitten her back, I've done EVERYTHING ... she just gets more mad & tries bitting again

Bitting your child is not the solution

Well biting her back certainly isn't going to solve the problem

i faked tears when my nephew bit me.. then i had him kiss my booboo
he hasnt bitten since

actually biting back sends the wrong message and will cause more future biting.




for me it was just A LOT of redirecting and constant consistency. eventually they stopped

Try the word "No" or redirection.

I flicked my son in his mouth when he bite my inner thigh at 2. he doesn't bite anymore (it wasn't planned- pure reflex)

my MIL did this to my SO and he didnt bite again at all but i was like umm WOW!

It's wrong. IMO. Redirection is not that hard to do. Just don't be lazy. And anytime DD does something wrong, or naughty, I sternly tell her no. Sometimes she cries about it but it works 98% of the time.

She's 14 months old, she doesn't understand fake crying!
& when she bites my 3yr old brother he's not gunna sit there & get her to kiss him ? .... And fyi the bitting has slowed down since I did bite her back!
I don't bite her hard I just let her know I can do it too & what it feels like!

& I HATE saying the word "No" to her. Simply because I will NOT have my daughter growing up saying No to me
