It's human bodies preserved is the best possible way for viewing. You could see every possible muscle, bone, vein and organ of the human body...both sexes. They also had a section on reproduction. I was speechless. We plan to take our children back before it closes(they are 5, 6, 9 and 11) and they are VERY excited to see what their bodies are made of.

So, what do you think? Would you go? Would you take your children? Why or why not? If your reason is religion, please explain.

My husband and I went and saw this back in September. To us it was an amazing way to see the human body in ways that we had never seen before.

I went to it in orlando last year, it was amazing. I thought it was awesome

it was here in arizona a while back... I wanted to go see it... but I didnt think it was appropriate for the kids... i would be ok with it if I didnt have the sexual organs... I dont know... I would like to get the scoop of it for myself before i took my kids...

i love to teach my kids new things... I am always taking them to museums or someplace cool...but that exhibit seems a little too PG-13 for my kids (9,7 and6)

I saw that a year ago when it came to the Houston Museum of Natural Science. I think it is amazing. I had a lot of people tell me it was gross and morbid but go figure, they were the ones who didnt see the exhibit!! Being a mortician's daughter, I have seen morbidity. These bodies were so full of life! I took my girls,and they really didnt ask any questions too out of the ordinary or seems scared by it.I think that this is a great educational tool for children and parents alike. Kudos to the donors as well!!

I'd go, and if I had children, I'd take them with me.

I'm very big onpeople calling things by their proper names. I plan on teaching my children to do the same. Idon't mindwhen peopleteach their children thesecutesie names to call their private parts, but that's their choice. My children will grow up knowing the words "penis" and "vagina" and calling theirs by its proper name. So yes, I'd take mine, and I'd show them their hearts, lungs, livers, etc, and explain what each of them do for the body. It will let them know how their body works, and that they should take care of it in order to keep it working properly.

I wish I didnt live in Alaska... I'd go, but I'd leave my 3 y/o at home.. she's not old enough to see that yet...

oh, this is in Kansas City right now too, it's been on the news. I really want to my take my kids to see this, they love this kind of stuff! I don't see a problem with it at all. It is our bodies after all. I'd rather them see this, then half the garbage they see on tv, play on video games, read on the internet, or hear on their mp3s. It looks fascinating! Of course, I'd like Scott and I to see if first, just to be sure, maybe to explain things beforehand.
And my kids are 14, 12, 11, 9, 3, and 8 months. Then their are my grandkids   I keed. I keed.

I REALLY WANT TO GO!! to a show now, i hope they do another one in orlando this is why i miss va,cause i was right next to dc and everything happens in dc we went to holocaust museum and i cried its crazy

I went to one of those in San Fran about 3 years ago for a science class. I thought it was awesome! lol.
