This is by far one of the most interesting things I've ever seen! One of my favorite book is "Grey's Anatomy" (and NO, it's NOT originally a TV show - it's an actual medical dictionary, per se) so I absolutely love learning about the human form.

I do not think I would take my kids... I don't think at age 5 you have a grasp of what death really is and it might be unsettling to know these were people that died. My oldest is 12 and I think it might be disturbing for him too. He is very compassionate toward others and I think he would be focused on if it hurt when they died. I personally think it is gross and morbid yet strangely facinating. I don't know if I could go... I am too sensitive. Lol!

Heh, mine too. Funny how if you're straight with them they aren't freaked out by little things like the human body or death.

If we went I can guarantee at least one of them would ask how they could donate their little bodies to science, so they too, can be on display forever educating the masses....yeah, it'll be Mana.

Wow, I'm glad you would consider taking your children eventually. It seriously surprises me that you WOULDN'T take your children now because they have the reproductive organs visible. Why does that matter? It's all parts of the human body....

Being in "the business" my kids have been around funerals and death and all since they were babies.,They know that when you are done on this earth, you die. Thats it, thats all. We also are Christians so they were taught what happens to people when they die. They are very accepting. I guess there is only fear when something is not fully understood. I am actually kind of proud of how they just take it for what it is.

But I don't find this sad. I find this a tribute to the beauty of the human body. I find the thought of say, going to the USS Arizona and knowing 1,000 were killed there, much worse. I find this a beautiful tribute, to us as human beings and what we are capable of, physically. Maybe a nice break from always hearing how much we suck
