Quoting ~Tattooedmama~: My husband and I went to see this today. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my ... [snip!] ... So, what do you think? Would you go? Would you take your children? Why or why not? If your reason is religon, please explain.
Quoting Winduh: Did I just hear playdate?
Quoting Mrs_Swankles: I do not think I would take my kids... I don't think at age 5 you have a grasp of what death really is ... [snip!] ... I personally think it is gross and morbid yet strangely facinating. I don't know if I could go... I am too sensitive. Lol!My children are freakishly morbid. Odd little birds. Seriously.

Quoting ~Tattooedmama~: Heh, mine too. Funny how if you're straight with them they aren't freaked out by little things like the human body or death. If we went I can guarantee at least one of them would ask how they could donate their little bodies to science, so they too, can be on display forever educating the masses....yeah, it'll be Mana.
Quoting Sadie700-[SHIB]: it was here in arizona a while back... I wanted to go see it... but I didnt think it was appropriate ... [snip!] ... to museums or someplace cool...but that exhibit seems a little too PG-13 for my kids (9,7 and6) maybe when they are older...
Quoting AshliM: We have a Holocaust museum here too. Yes it does make youcry...
Quoting Future_Chicago_Cubs_Mommy: This is by far one of the most interesting things I've ever seen! One of my favorite book is "Grey's ... [snip!] ... it's NOT originally a TV show - it's an actual medical dictionary, per se) so I absolutely love learning about the human form.
Quoting ~Tattooedmama~: Heh, mine too. Funny how if you're straight with them they aren't freaked out by little things like the human body or death.Being in "the business" my kids have been around funerals and death and all since they were babies.,They know that when you are done on this earth, you die. Thats it, thats all. We also are Christians so they were taught what happens to people when they die. They are very accepting. I guess there is only fear when something is not fully understood. I am actually kind of proud of how they just take it for what it is.
