Why does anyone do drugs? I started a long time ago and it's been hard to just stop cold turkey since I've gotten pregnant. But I have cut down a lot, I've even stopped smoking cigarettes.

You used KNOWING you're pregnant. Are you looking for a "ahhhh, it'll be ok!"? Because you're not getting it from this way!! You're ridiculous. You should've been thinking about these things when you were snorting.

I know the cocaine can be found in your urine for up to 36hours. It can stay in the babys system 2-7 days. I have a friend who went through this. The affects it can have on your baby vary depending on what stages of pregnancy you used it in. As for the pills, I could probably help you there too if you list what pills you used. go to rehab if you need to, they can help you

Depending on your weight, height and how much you snorted depends on how Lon it stays in your system.
Also some states when you are pregnant and go for your OB appointment they automatically drug test you. If you fail so many times and when your child is born they can take your child away from you right after birth. I've seen this mostly happen if the pregnant lady goes to a free clinic. I believe you have to fail 3 times to have you child taken away at birth..

Umm.. my hubbys real mother did cocain and other drugs he was 3 month premi stay in the hospital for months with horrible breathing problems his dad took custody of him once he was out of the hospital.. You should stop ASAP!

A girl I work with cousin just had a baby. She was on cocaine. The baby came out fine but they did test and when she came up positive they told her she had a week to check in to a 30 day rehab program or they would put the baby in foster care. The baby is in the care of the father until the mother gets out.

Cocaine stays in your system for 3 days after the last use; pills, depending on how many you've done can be up to 30 days. My husband's aunt snorted cocaine her whole pregnancy (this was before DH & I were together, or she would have been turned in) & her daughter is now 4 & can't make 3 word sentences. I hope you stop using & your baby is ok.

I would be honest with your doctors about your drug use, the baby might come out with withdraw symptons and that can harm your baby. Plus if your truthful, they will try and help you. Good luck

This is not true, actually most babies born to mothers who frequently use cocaine do not show signs of birth defects. Obviously there are always risks but most of the time the biggest problem is withdrawl, seizures, vomiting, low birth rate and vision problems.

1.) Cocaine flies through your system. The meconium COULD test positive, though, especially if you continue to use.
2.) I've read that cocaine, meth, etc actually don't cause much so far as birth defects. It's the stress that they put on your body that can cause you to have the baby early, dehydration, lack of appetite, and the baby coming out addicted that are serious issues.
3.) I honestly wouldn't doubt it. Marijuana is one thing. Cocaine is on a whole different level. If you think you will test positive or feel like you may continue using, I suggest getting into a rehab program. That way you are showing some initiative to quit.
