I'm just curious to know how many people think the weekly updates from the BabyGaga Facebook App are a little confusing or misleading? Example:

"My baby buckaroo has roped us our 2nd trimester and soon, it'll feel like they ARE riding a bucking bronco! At 3.5 inches long, they're already coordinated enough for loads of complicated motions. In fact, they're moving around right now, even though I won't feel it until some time between 17 to 22 weeks."

I understand that at this point during the pregnancy, the sex of the fetus is an unknown for us mothers-to-be. But, because the author of these updates is using the term "they" or "they're" to refer to the baby, some of my Facebook friends think I'm having twins! Can these please be re-worded for those of us who are carrying less than two children?

I don't think it's that misleading.

I'm fairly certain that isn't grammatically correct. I was taught to pick either he or she because they is plural.

I see nothing wrong with it. Anyone who speaks proper English can read that and take it the way it was meant.

I had the updates before I was a member lol That's what made me WANT to be a member

Or you could just explain to them that you're only having one baby. I really don't think it would confuse the average person though.

A lot of non-members get the updates. I see a lot of people on fb who use the updates and not the forum, thank god.

Its an app on FB, I had the updates with my first daughter, and didn't join BG until after she was born...

I don't think it's misleading at all.

I have friends on fb that have the weekly updates but arent members. Anywho I see nothing wrong with it. I prefer it to say they instead of he, she, or the one I dislike the most "it". If people are getting confused then thats kind of sad.
