re: car seats from 2004

We had to bring the carseat up to the room and buckle her in up there

my car seat is from 2011 so i know im good lol.. in danville pa they always check the car seats before any children go home i thought i would let the moms know that had no clue like me

Here in Ontario when you take a taxi you dont have to have the car seats its legal to just hold the child. I don`t agree with it and always bring my car seats everytime I take a cab but its allowed

My nurse at the hospital I stayed in asked if I wanted help. I asked her to check it over for me to make sure. She was thoroughly impressed that I was a 19 yr old that put a seat in correctly and put my daughter in the harness properly. Lol

I just started working at mcdonald's like a 1 1/2 weeks ago. OMG I'm disturbed by how many people don't even use a car seat or seat belt or anything. Like OMG!!!

Where I was at, I had to do that. But I think it was only because she was so small. They had to do a test on her to make sure she could breathe well in it.

It kills me!! And here it's worse than anywhere else I have ever been. Everything is old school here so everyone is like "Yeah I didn't have a car seat! My kid doesn't need one!!"

i dont judge that lol.. i just thought it was sad for a newborn   poor baby
my SO and i dont have our license and use public transport alot but my sister thankfully took us home from the hospital.. newborn necks freak me out

Yeah, here in the states it is not required to use a car seat in common carriers, a taxi counts for some stupid reason.

We take public transit too but I always have a ride from the hospital when I have my babies   because newborn necks also freak me out haha

This is how it was when we brought our son home. We are going to be using the same carseat for this LO but the seat was purchased new December 2010 so it is relatively new.

There is an "expiration" date on the carseat though for December 2016 though.

What bugs me more than them not having a car seat is having the kid sit in it and then not having them even buckled in. I'm like dumbasses you buckle yourself up but your kids aren't important enough for it?
