That is good! I am going to at least try, at least you did it for 3 weeks... I just had decided to not do it at all. I am though with my next baby, forsure.

I'm doing everything the same way I did with my daughter. Waterbirth, breast feeding, co-sleeping, cloth diapers. I loved every minute of her birth and can't wait to do it again. The only thing I'm thinking about doing different is delayed solids and child led weaning.

I haven't really done anything different and don't plan to do anything different. I had a Csec with my first because he was breech and would like another Csec with this one (even though the dr.'s would prefer I have a VBAC .. we'll see).

I EBFd for 12m with my first and plan to do the same with this one. My first is 25m and still nursing actually.

Well with this one, we're going to cloth diaper from birth. With Finn, we started around 5-6 weeks. That's not too different though. lol

Not much tbh, delivered both my children naturally, and BF, will do it again with our 3rd baby. But I learned after my first, that it is a horrible idea to labor in bed on your back. Oh Lord, did I ever learn. lol Never did it again, and do not recommend it!

I wanted to do a water birth but there are no options for a water birth in hospitals in Alabama, just laboring tubs but none offered in my area. Also HBACs with a certified midwife are illegal.
Co sleeping from birth. Cloth Diapers. And if DD was a boy I wouldn't of had him circumcised.

In the state of Alabama assisted home births are illegal. This state has a bunch of stupid laws towards labor and delivery. Midwives can't even deliver VBAC babies.

With my second I plan to not to quit breastfeeding and use cloth diapers. As for meds I still plan to get an epi but that just depends on how quick my labor is. I was only in labor for 5 hours with my daughter so it will all depend if I get to the hospital in time to get an epi and I really hope I will!

See I have thought about cloth diapering with my next baby, but wonder how hard it would be to do it with the baby in daycare (at my job) while Im there.... I just wonder if the daycare allows that...sounds crazy, but I have no idea??

See and I had both of my kids in a bed (at hospital) and on my back....it was horrible with my first ...second wasnt so bad...but that I lost alot of blood because the OB said I was bad anemic?.... idk.

But, I have so many ideas that I plan to make with my last pregnancy. What position did you find was easiest for you with your laboring? If you dont mind me asking

Ugh, and you know Im in ALABAMA too! That just sucks! Is it all of AL where water births are not a option. That just makes me mad. I think I remember now you posting about all that when you found out with your daughter (when you were pregnant)

dang.

Sounds alot like what I want to do....but I want to try and do the birth as natural as possible. Well see...

And breastfeeding for as long as I can. I just had a breast reduction in December so I hope that doesnt mess with anything... ha.
