I am due December 23rd also!!   I got anU/S yesterday and it was very very cool. I have never had an U/S so early. It really put my mind at ease to see the babys strong heartbeat (147 BPM) and see that the little guy (or girl?) is ok in there. Here is a peek! I rotated the pic so that baby's head is up and the yolk sac is on the left.

Hi Tracy! I had a u/s and was dated for five weeks, 6 days. The picture is posted in my profile. We were able to see the heartbeat, it wasn't really measurable, but I could see the pulsing on the screen and the little bean of a baby.  

that is so cool w/ my first i had to have an u/s right away cause i was bleeding and i was only 16 so the thought i was miscarring all we seen was the yolk sac my boyfriend said wow i had eggs for breakfast!! the tech looked at himlike he was stupid  thanx for showing the pic and congrats

Has anyone started telling yet?

I haven't told yet, but I've been dying to. Luckily I haven't been too sick yet, so people havne't been able to guess just by that. I'm waiting for the traditional 12 week mark, I guess. Or I'll tell if it becomes necessary before then, I guess. My family and my husband's family knows and a close friend, but that's all so far!

I have told a lot of people. I feel like they needed to know at work, cause I had to start refusing to pick up heavy things or pull patients up in the bed. And of course, I told my and my husband's familys too. Everyone is really excited for us.

im 8 weeks and 2 days preggo due dec. 22, i couldnt keep my mouth shut about it, because of this being my first pregnancy i was soooo excited, so i opened my mouth and told all my friends, but i am wondering if i am not farther then the drs think because i already have a lil belly going.....

I couldn't wait to tell people! I was way tooo excited, too.   This is my first, and it is way too much excitement for me to keep to myself. I have a small belly going, too. I can't really fit into my jeans, they are way too uncomfy.

My husband told his mom and she said, AY No, You guys can't handle another baby.... I was like, Gee, Thanks! Why would God give us something we can't handle. WHATEVER. Everyone else has been super supportive and excited!!   Maybe thats why he didnt want to tell his family so soon.

Yeah we have started telling people too. We are too excited! One person so far though told me I shouldn't tell people because of what could happen - and I was like thanks Debbie Downer. I am not that far away from 12 weeks now and something could always happen - I just prefer to have a positive outlook that everything is going to be great!

yeah my jeans arent fitting right and i am wearing gauchos a lot because they give a lot.....very comfy!! highly recommend wearing!! and they are cute too!!!
