Another Update on Malia

Okay I called this morning to check on Malia they said that her blood sugar was 300 an they gave her a blood tranfusion an they gave her some insulin an that went back to normal.They increased her feeds yay!!!!! to 2.4cc every 4 hours.But other then the lil esopide with the blood sugar my sweet baby is doing good an she has gain 3oz to. .So hopefully she will be coming home in another month or 2.

wow yay what a strong little girl u have!!! ya my daughter was supposed to have one when she was in the hospital cuz her levels were all screwed up too and they were thinking that was what was causing her sleep apnea to be so bad....

WOw one or two months till she may come home. I sure hope so, my nephew was born at 25 weeks to the day and he was in the NICU for 4 months. Good luck though it sounds like she is doing great so far.

Paige had two blood transfusions while in the NICU and she always did awesome afterwards too. Did Malia's skin tone change? Paige always got SUPER rosey after getting blood... almost like she had sunburnLOL.

No she was the same color.
