F/A-18 Hornet Crashed in Virginia Beach

US Navy has confirmed that an F-18 has gone down in Virginia Beach around 1230pm. Both pilots have been found safely ejected from the plane. Please pray for the families that's houses were hit and hope that no one was home!

That's scary. I wonder why they didn't ditch over the ocean though? Was it a collision of some sort? Regardless I hope everyone is okay!

Holy hell, how scary.

Navy hasn't confirmed what has happened, but the buzz around base right now, is that it was an engine failure because of a bird being sucked up into the engine and the pilots ejected while over base, trying to keep it within base, but obviously it didn't.

The 2 pilots are in the hospital there both stable, one is in good condition and the other one is in fair condition. And there was 4 other people that went to the hospital 1 was released and the others are being treated and theres no life threatning injuries.
