I don't understand how you're saying to pronounce it.   Day n air is. Sooo the "n" is pronounced by itself? It doesn't sound very pleasant, and it doesn't look like it's pronounced how you said it is.

A lot. Not to mention she will have to constantly tell people how to pronounce it, or go by a nickname just to spare people the problem. School would suck with that name, correcting everyone all day long.

This is true. I have a pronounceable name, and people still butcher it up. Pisses me the smurf off. I'd feel bad for your kid.

Nair is too a word!  

But I have to say, she wouldn't have a very easy time growing up with that name.

Not to mention, teen moms already get a bad wrap for naming their kids smurfed up/made up/misspelled smurf. Don't feed into it. :/
