Funny story I just remembered...(semi long)

As an early childhood education student, I get to do "labs" where I work with lots of little kids.  A few weeks ago, one of the little kiddos asked me, "Why is your stomach so big?"  I explained to them that there was a baby inside, and that's what people do, they grow babies inside their tummies until they're ready to come out! (A really weird thing to talk to three year olds about!).

Ever since then whenever I come in they always ask me, "Is that baby still in there?"  I say yes, and explain that it takes a LONG time for people to grow babies until they're big enough.  One little girl didn't quite catch my whole explaination (or maybe she did) and just said to me, "Why don't you just pop it out already?"  LOL!!!  I could NOT stop laughing.

They're just so cute to be around though, they ask all sorts of fun questions, and they think it's the coolest thing that my stomach is this big and still hard.  One little boy wanted me to lift up my shirt because he thought that it was just my shirt that was covering up the baby!  Oh goodness, they crack me up.  

Anyone else with funny being-around-kids-while-pregnant stories?

my daughter(who is 3) told me that she wanted a brother... I asked her what she would do if she had a sister... she told me she would sell her.... LOL

I gave the same explanation to my 3 year old niece when I was 5 months prego, mext morning she came running into my room at 6am to see if the baby had already come out lol

and my 7 year old neice was walking out the door of the house and I was saying bye and shes goes.."bye, oh and just so you know, your NOT supposed to sniff diapers"

I have kindof a cute story:
Well, my husband's sister is 4 (he is 19), and her name is Abby. Well right after she found out I was pregnant, we went over to visit. And she says "Wheres the baby? Why did you leave it at your house??" she was totally freaking out! By this time I was about 16 weeks or so. We had to explain to her, that it was still in my belly and that it takes a long time. Well, everytime I see her she asks where the baby is and we keep having to tell her "The baby is in Crystal's belly" (thats what my husband says) and she still doesnt quite get it... she assumes everytime we see her that we will bring her newborn neice! Its cute.

And my7 year old brother always asks if I have had my daughter (when I speak to him over the phone) its really cute.

ahhh too cute. I love when little kids are serious!!!! Umm by the way u have a 7 YO and your 16 how the hell? Is she your stepdaughter? I'm just nosey and confused as hell. Oh yea ur myspace background kicks ass

i don't have a story like that but the weekend after i has my baby my niece and sister came over (they went up to the hospital with us) and my niece tells me "if your tummy starts hurting tonight then we can go to your doctors and see zayden" then a little while later we asked what her favorite part of going to the doctors was and she said "when the lady kicked her out of the room because bonna isn't my mommy." 

I had a ob appt this morning and before I left my 4 yr old asked me if I was finally going to get that baby cut out of my tummy. She said she was ready to see the baby. My hubby felt it was easier to tell her the baby was getting cut out since I was having a c-section and did not want to give her too much info.
