I shrieked when I seen this photo on a friend of mines FB, like seriously ? Everyone knows you put NOTHING in the crib with an infant especially an ADULTS PILLOW! plus the stuffed animals and the one right in front of the babies mouth/nose? ARE YOU Sm***rfING KIDDING ME.

Maybe its the fact I know a 3 week old that passed away due to pure ignorance ( Co - Sleeping! He was smoothered ) like this that has me so pissed off about it. I don't know.

Any sorry for any spelling errors or the capital letters, I'm so irritated.

Get the picture off of here. If that's your friend, say something to her. Don't bad mouth her on a parenting site where she can't defend herself. Btw way, co-sleeping is 100% safe when done correctly. Know your facts sweetums.

Saying a baby passed away from co-sleeping is pure ignorance. Maybe you should educate yourself on co sleeping before you make judgemental statements like that.

But, that picture is soo wrong. Maybe they don't know it's wrong. There's not really much you can do about it except try to help educate her on the risk of suffocation and the increased risk of SIDS.

I have a friend who does the same thing, expect her baby is only a week old and sleeps in the crib all throughout the night by herself. Adult pillows, 3 or 4 blankets, one on the baby, one under and then two just placed in there. Plus, if the baby doesn't wake up for food, she'll let her sleep 8 hours without eating!! A 1 week old should not go 8 hours with no feedings, ever! People make me mad.

Ignorance is in the eyes of the beholder. While I agree there shouldnt be all that stuff in the crib with a kid.. guess what? I co sleep. My kids are fine thanks.
