I'm sorry, but that is a VERY BAD IDEA. I have done everything to give you the best and safest advice, but you are being very stupid and negligent about your health.

And even the ru486 isn't always effective and causes problems.

Yes, but there are check ups afterwards. To make sure that there is no excess tissue in the uterus. That there is no infection.

You could easily have a partial miscarriage and have no idea with an at-home method.

Which is why if she does use an at-home method, she NEEDS to follow up with a doctor. Even if she thinks she's peachy.

You need to understand that a lot of the natural methods are intended for very early in pregnancy. At 10 weeks, it is very much possible that even if you do miscarry, everything will not be expelled.

OP...

In your post from 45 minutes ago, everyone was telling you to contact Planned Parenthood.

Can you please just call them and talk about your options before trying these methods at home? And follow up with a doctor no matter what? Please?!

Vit C can work.
Best suggestion is to do it & see what happens, if you start to miscarry go to your doctor or ER so they can monitor you & follow it up.

I miscarried at 11 weeks & 5 days pregnant. I started bleeding & had an ultrasound to confirm that the baby was gone, went home & was told to keep an eye on the bleeding. Woke up at 4.30am the next morning with blood pouring out of me. I expected a lot of blood so it didn't occur to me that something was up until I soaked 6 pads in 2 hours. I went to the hospital to get checked out & I was hemmorhaging. I passed out in front of the ER, had to be rushed in & have clots (& the baby) removed from my cervix, while still awake & alert, to slow the bleeding. Had I not sought medical attention I could have bled out & died.

Please, monitor the bleeding when & if it starts. If you start bleeding a lot, seek medical attention.

This is your choice to make, & while I may not agree with it for myself, you are the only person who knows what is right for you & your body. Just please be safe.

I'll be safe. If I start spewing blood I'll of course go to the ER. I'm not dumb. I just don't see the point in spending hundreds of dollars on an abortion when there are clearly many methods to try at home. If they don't work, obviously I'll have no choice.

Spewing blood or not, you need to get checked out afterwards.

Most people aren't telling you not to do it, or to pay for it. They're just trying to make sure you get checked out afterwards.

I read up on this a few years back. You are supposed to use a few different herbs with the vitamin C I believe. Also it's much more effective with earlier pregnancies. You could try but follow up with a Dr and don't be surprised if it doesn't work. You may need to go to a clinic in the end. Good luck! Natural remedies can work if you do them correctly just be safe about it.

You do NOT have to use it with other herbs. This is just what some women do. You don't have to. The link I provided her lists the herbs you CAN and CANNOT use with it and all the possible risks associated with it.
