re: Using Straws

My son learned it daycare..I didnt even really know he knew how..until I had a cup with a straw..and he leaned over and started sucking..I think it was around seven or eight months..he was pretty young..

At about 6-7 months. Em never cared for regular sippy cups, and never understood the concept of tipping them up to drink. So we've always used the Nuby straw cups. She loves them.

Hailey was able to drink from a straw around 9-10 months..she picked my husband's sonic cup off the coffee table and proceeded to help herself to his dr. pepper. (I took a picture then took the cup away).

My neighbors son never liked regular sippy cups so he drank from the straw cups for toddlers.

I'm not ready to let Hailey have a cup with a straw ..

about 10-11 months. He wouldnt drink out of a sippy cup so i tryed a straw and he got that !!

I didn't think about trying with my daughter till she was one. She took to it immediatly. So I guess it probably would have been sooner if I tried.
