And I am sorry you received these responses. We all have our own ways of showing our pride for ourselves, and it is healthy to have pride in yourself. Your way might not be mine, but I don't see how naming your daughter either of these names has to be such a co deem ing situation for you.

These are definitely very African American names. As for affiliation hood, or ghetto, or any type of home, I honestly don't know what they apply to. I think the second name has a better ring to it, and I think it is pretty.

True that. I also only read the first page because I was immediately appalled by the responses she received. So she may have become something nasty later on, but I surmise this had much to do with the immediately condemning and inappropriate responses she received from everyone.
