I am completely shocked!

I just joined this site today, with the idea that this is for mature parents who are looking for people to talk to, ask serious questions, and get advice when needed. I thought this would be a good way for me to socialize with other mothers, seems how I am a full time student trying to receive her associates degree, and a full time mom to 3 of my own kids, a baby on the way and a mother figure to my bf's daughter. When I got on here and asked a question, a few people were very nice and helped me, others sank their teeth in to me as though they are better than everyone else. And then had the nerve to tell me to grow up, or get thick skinned when I told them that where I come from people don't act that way. Internet bullying is no joke, and as for the get "thick skin" remark, I do have thicker skin than others, because believe it or not, there are people out in the world who do kill them selves over internet bullying. And that is a sad but very true statement. I sat here and really debated for 5 mins on if I wanted to deactivate my account on here or not. I am going to try and give this a second chance, only in the hopes that everyone on here will stop and think of others. You don't know what anyone's home life is like, and when someone asks a question maybe you should put yourself in their shoes and be nice. Not be rude just because you are having a bad day, or you don't like that person, or you don't like the question or the statement. The funny thing is, I wasn't even gave a chance. I was just jumped on the minute I asked something. I don't care if no one likes what I have to say on here, I just felt the need to say it, because if this is how everyone acts, how does this site get new members? I don't know about anyone else, but i wouldn't recommend this site to any of my expecting friends if everyone else on here is really rude like that. It also needs to be brought up because this is a serious matter and it shouldn't be ignored. Thank you

If you did have thick skin you wouldn't be posting this.   Kudos to you for acting like the child you are. You got ass hurt because people told you the names of your children are not unique like you thought. Grow up lady.

you can't deactivate anything here... you aren't the first or last person to make a cry baby post because someone hurt your feelings... not everyone is going to be nice to you just because you're new

Maybe giving your child a stupid name is appropriate.
