Giving a BAD review for this pack n play

posted 31st Mar '12

Mannnn...I have never had so much trouble folding up, and putting up a pack n play in my entire LIFE. All of the pack n plays I have dealt with before just pop up and lock and they are ready to go.

This one...you have to keep the center pulled up, all the way, while you lock the side rails. If you flatten, or let the center down at all and then try to lock the rails, it will not work.

Definitely not made for a single parent, lmao. I was so frustrated at this thing that I had to walk away from it before I threw it.

Anyway...no one buy this lol

I think thats the same one I had for my son! It belonged to my sister and it was passed down, but it was a bitch to put up! It would make me so mad moving it from room to room

OMG. I took it to my brothers today and it drove me NUTS.

I had to take it down and put it up twice. I will never do it again until I get rid of it.

Not me..man. The ones I have done you could flatten the middle and then lock the sides and it was soooo much easier! LOL I was sitting on my bed, holding this thing with my feet so the middle would stay up and was trying to lock the rails at the same time..i dropped it atleast 5 times and had to start all over.

I have a Graco and you have to have the middle up until the sides are locked.

Maybe that's just how the newer ones are made then? Idk..all 3 of my nieces had ones that you could just flatten out and then lock the rails. I wish they would have saved theirs! LOL I would take it in a heartbeat.

Any I've ever seen, you may be able to lock the sides with the bottom down but it's not considred as secure. You are supposed to leave the center up. It's not that hard to pull up the sides.

It is when you're doing it all alone...well it was for me anyway. haha, maybe I'm just not coordinated enough for it.

All the ones I have used were the same way . Not terribly difficult but not something that just did it on its own

You get the hang of it the more you do it. I had a hard time figuring out DDs at first because it'd been so long since I used one. And since hers was brand new and hadn't been opened or closed it didn't want to lock a lot of times but not it works like a charm, and after you get used to it you just do it in 2 seconds flat lol

That sounds like an old- fashioned play pen not pack n play
