Post surgical / Post BC Questions

Feb 8, 2012 I had a scheduled surgical abortion to terminate my 4-6 week pregnancy.

Upon returning home from my procedure, I experienced bleeding that lasted until the 18th of Feb. I have no experienced bleeding since then.

I started Lo Loestrine (sp?) two weeks after I stopped bleeding. I took the BC for 2 full weeks before deciding to quit.

My question is, has anyone experienced post BC bloating, and how long after this procedure until I have a period again?!

I'm at the end of my rope worrying about this whole thing, I've even taken 3 pregnancy tests since to see if something failed during my procedure, I get so bloated at times! Any answers would be great, thanks!!

BC always creates a bloat. As for your period coming back, just give it time. You've just put your body through so many hormonal changes and it's going to take a bit for things to go back to normal again. If you have questions, ask your doctor. He/she would be able to give you better answers than any of us could. Good luck.

did you call the place that aborted you? They might know better then we would ? The girl i know who had 4 done ( like back to back) always got her period....^shrugs^ you just might be different sweets. But i would call before sweating over it
