water broke at 15 weeks

last night my sisters water broke at 15 weeks. today in the hospital her placenta tore. her babys heart is still beating but they have to induce labor. I feel so bad cuz i am 21 weeks along with a healthy pregnancy and our brothers girlfriend is 12 weeks pregnant. i feel so bad i dontk now what i would do with myself. please pray for strength for my sister while she goes through this hard time.

Do they have any idea what caused it?

the doctors said after the baby passes they can do some tests to try adn figure out what happened but it might been nothing at all, they say sometimes it just happens

My water broke at 16 weeks and I immediatly started losing my baby. I ended up getting pregnant three months later and 6 years later I have two beautiful girls and have another on the way.

I will keep her in my prayers and I am so sorry for your guys' loss. I know she will soon have an amazing little family.

Just be there. Let her express her feelings. dont tell her you understand or it Was ment to be. Atleast you can get pregnant etc. Those words/phrases upset mothers who have lost. Atleast me.

She may distance herself from everyone who is pregnant she may also feel resentment.

This is excellent advice.

Also if you post pregnancy updates on facebook, talk to her about it first, and if it will upset her to see all the time, maybe block her from seeing those posts temporarily so that she doesnt have that constant reminder while she's grieving.

What happened with the pregnancy?

Imo maybe she doesn't need any more kids, if she's not takin care of the first 2.
