kindle fire & insurance confusion
posted 30th Mar '12
Okay. So my dad gave me the money to get a kindle fire and then some.
I found a refurbished kindle for $30 cheaper than a brand new one.
It comes with the 1 year warranty, but I don't think I can get the insurance with it.
So if I were to get the insurance it would be another $70 tacked on to what I'm already spending. Because from what I understand I'd have to get a new kindle.
What do you ladies think? Would you get the new kindle and the insurance (which covers accidents and such)? Or would you get the refurbished kindle?
I really don't know what to do. I'm so confused.
Also, what cover or case do you have? I'm not sure which one is the best I want one that's pretty durable.

I'd spend the extra 30 and get new. I have one and honestly like my first one better, I have ipad so I use that for the Internet, typing on it is difficult for me. I do like that you dont have to have a light so I can read at bedtime without a light.

I would get the new one, because to me, $30 isn't that much of a savings for something that's "used", even if it is refurbished. If it were $70 difference, I might choose the refurbished one. Also, I like that you can buy the insurance with the new one.
JMO.
