My 28 weeker is 3!

I can't believe my baby is 3 already! 3 years ago on this day, I was so afraid and didn't know if my baby was going to be ok or not! He weighed 2 lbs 11 oz and was 15 inches long! Now he is 35 lbs (which his 4 year old brother is 40 lbs, so not far behind him! lol) and almost as tall as his older brother! Crazy how time flies.

hes beautiul momma. PS it always seems the preemies end up being the biggest!! i know so many football players who were preemies. its crayyyy

Yea he was in the 90the percentile up until he was 2 years old. His older brother was in the 5th (he was born at term too-38 weeks). Now Dre has dropped a little, but still over the 50th percentile. His brother jumped over the 50th percentile for height though. lol He is definitely bigger than his brother was at 3 though! I wouldn't mind if he becomes a football player!   lol

Awe, so glad he made it! Yea I am pretty sure both of my sons are going to be taller than my husband and I. LOL DH is 5'6 and I am 5'4, but they are growing like weeds. We have a LOT of 6 footers in our family and I think that is where they are headed at this rate.

thanks i bet he will be tall then. the drs only gave my brother 24 hours and everyday that he made it passed those 24 hours baffled the drs they wanted my mom to sign the no recessatation papers but she refused then after he made it after 6 months in the hospital they said he would never walk or talk which he does both i am really proud of him he has no mental or phisical disabilities and is in the 8th grade now so he is truely a miracle

Aww congrats..my nephew was born March 10,2012 & only lived 16 data he was born at 29 weeks..they said he was the healthest so? Premmie they had seen and then we got the bad news

  I am sorry! Do they know why he passed away? My son was pretty healthy when he was born, but definitely had a fight ahead of him. He had to have a heart (PDA which is really common in preemies) surgery and a hernia surgery.

Awe i love seeing posts like this. My sister, brother, and I were all preemies, but i was the smallest now i am the second tallest in the family. lol
