How long did you wait?

I don't remember the Doctor ever telling me when I can resume sexual intercourse (I'm on birth control). Its been 9 days so far. I had a surgical if that matters. No cramping for 3 days now, slightly spotting.

I want to say like 4 weeks after a surgical? But I could be completely wrong...

Well if you're not in pain I don't see the harm.  

I was told 2 weeks as long as I wasn't bleeding anymore.

BC takes a full month to work properly bc it takes time to get into your system so make sure you use a backup like condoms. I'd also call the dr and ask about when it's ok to have sex again just in case.

I wonder if it depends on how far along you were? I was only 2 weeks pregnant they said -- via vaginal ultrasound. They also said I was already pretty dilated! I thought once you were pregnant your cervix closes up.

They told me no intercourse for like 4 weeks.
I think I only waited 3 and nothing bad happened...
