re: STABBING rib pain in right side

this isn't constant though, just on and off... like i haven't felt it for a few hours now. I will mention it to my dr when i go in to see him on the 5th though  

I just went to my OB this morning for right side rib pain. He scheduled me for a gallbladder u/s. Unfortunately the u/s dept can't get me in till next Wednesday  

So I would suggest seeing your OB and staying away from greasy and fatty foods (what OB recommended)

I think mine started around 20 weeks and progressivly got worse sorry thats not what you wanna hear! i hope yours goes away!

my pain was on and off for three months until the stones got stuck in my bile duct the pain became constant when i was 35 weeks and this started when i was 20 some weeks and in the beginning it only would last for an hour or two one time it only lasted 15 mins but each time it kept getting worse and longer everything you said is pointing to your gall bladder and it isnt somthing to put off trust me you dont want to be in the pain i was in because know one could figure it out until my liver was shutting down because my dr just kept saying it was the baby im srry but the baby does not cause that much pain by kicking

im talking a few mins, not 15 or an hr or anything of that length.

I dont want to go to emerge and look like a complete idiot so can someone please explain what gull bladder pain is in laymens terms so i can determine whether or not i should go to the hospital tonight or not?

im not going to see my dr for another week or 2, on the 5th

I am 24 weeks and 4 days and it all I can do to ride in the car I get done severe pain in my ribs too

You have an appt next Thursday? I'd call your OB and let them know. They may want to see you sooner or think it's okay for you to wait that long.

i went to emerge last night and had an ultrasound at noon today, so im just going to follow up with my dr's nurse in a few days and hopefully my results will be in. I think i heard the student tech say something to the main tech about my right kidney. I have already changed my diet anyways just in case it's my gull bladder and have to pick up some cranberry juice just in case it's my kidney.

So I have been feeling it since last night, its under my right rib and goes down a to my stomach a little ways but my neck and right shoulder hurts really bad I also have bad heartburn and it hurts when I breath in really deep will be 20 wks this friday and have a little girl and never felt it with her it scares me a little and hurts I don't know what it is HELP!!

galbladder. you need to be on a diet. go to the dr and they will help you

i just had my gallbladder removed after 10 years of pain!! these are some symptoms

Moderate to severe pain under the right side of the rib cage Pain may radiate through to the back or to the right shoulder Severe upper abdominal pain (biliary colic) Nausea Queasiness Vomiting Gas Burping or belching Attacks are often at night Attacks often occur after overeating Pain will often but not always follow a meal with fats or grease Pain may be worse with deep inhalation Attacks can last from 15 minutes to 15 hours
