When is is safe to give to babies? When they are 2, right?

yes two is supposed to be the golden age...just because peanuts can be such a severe allergic reaction they want to make sure old enough to handle if they are allergic....

They say 2, unless you're (or daddy's) allergic yourself--then they say to wait until 5...

My doctors told me that I could start my daughters at 1 since there were no allergies in the family.. I have to wait to introduce egss unlike everyone else, b/c I am allergic to eggs. My daughter is 16 months now, and she loves her pb&j!
