That's funny. . My lil guy was small when he was born but has gained tons. I am glad for that bc he alrdy did enuf damage during birth..lol.. he can grow all he wants.

Id take it if I could.. are u getting paid? Or if not if u can afford it I would take it. My first day back will be march 18... dreading it.. total of 12 wks.. wish I could take longer

I was going to do the same thing because I was really having a hard time coming to terms of leaving both girls and going back to work. I decided to go back when I said I would (after 11 weeks) and this is week two and it's much better! I say take as much time as you need but I know I knew I would have to go back some time so why not get it started, lol. Good luck!

I think I'm going to go back- I just feel like a terrible person. I want to spend all my time with them and I'm heartbroken that ill have to be away from them 30 hrs a week. Ugh it sucks!

I went back after 8 weeks (couldn't afford any longer) and it was hard but it gets easier! It helps that I only work part-time and that the kids are with DH while I work. At least I don't have to leave them with a sitter.

Yeah violet will be with my Mamaw   & carter needs to start preschool so I'm excited hell be learning so much. I like working, but I just wish I could spend all my time with them. I'm sure it'll be okay after a couple weeks. I do feel blessed that they have me 12 wks paid- my sister had 6 wks unpaid

Hey ladies- I don't know if any of you have a couple dollars to spare. This BG mom is pretty well known on here & lost her 8 year old little boy two days ago. They're donating money to help with funeral arrangements that are pricey. I didn't have much to give but every little bit counts- if not please say a prayer for her and her family. Thank you!



A BG mama lost her precious little boy yesterday. He was only 8 years old. A donation website has been set up to help this family cover the funeral costs, so that they don't have to struggle to come up with this money while going through such a tragic loss.

Hey ladies!!! Been soooo long since I've posted. My life is just busy with working, school & the kids! But here's an update on us....

Mallory is 23" & 13 lbs 3oz. As of tomorrow she'll be 12 weeks old   we were told yesterday by the pedi that her neck leans too far to the right (that is her preferred side) so he gave me exercises to do with her to straighten her neck out. If she cannot get it "locked" in the middle within the next month we'll have to go through physical therapy. NOT something I want to do but obviously I'll do what I have to do for her! She is smiling now ALL the time... still has a bit of colic at night but for the most part she is a very happy smiley little girl now! We're moving her to the crib this weekend or next. I'm hoping that will transition smoothly. She still isn't rolling or really lifting her head TOO high (which might be because of the low muscle tone in the left side of the neck) but wow she's growing like a weed!!! Hope all is well with all y'all!!

So cute. .. my LO had that problem at 2wk appt..forgot to ask again at 2month.. but he has been holding his head up and turning it on tummy time too so I wasn't concerned. . But we did neck exercises too.. shorter muscle on one side bc of position in womb.
