I'm so scared of what my boobs are going to look like after a year of BF   I'm so scared of surgery but I might have to. I have a muffin top in my 7s so no tight ones for me yet either- I have literally NO butt it's flat so I think that plays a role in my 3's. I went to a baby shower two weekends ago as well and the girl still looked pregnant- the only thing that got big on me was my belly- I always have really small legs and arms. Thankful for that at least! Being the smallest in the room would have made me happy too  

Thanks everyone...I had the U/S today. They're going to call with the results (hopefully tomorrow).

PP appt went good- I've lost 2 more lbs making it a grand total of 18 lbs.. Only 17 to go!

Way to go! I'm in better shape 5 weeks pp then before I got, pregnant. Something about being pregnant this time kicked my bdy into gear. I only gained 7 pounds and I've lost 37 pounds in 5 weeks. I haven't been this weight in 7 years. I still have 40 to go to be the weight I was when I met my husband 13 years ago and size 4. Breastfeeding has helped. I lost 3 pounds in one day.

Turns out I have some tissue left in there...most likely placenta. The doctor said it's really low in my uterus, so she prescribed cytotec - she said that will make me contract and I might be able to pass it. If not, I have a D&C on Thursday.

Aww that sux.. other than the bleeding are you having any other issues..like sore? Im 6wks pp tomorrow and I feel sharp pains in my vag. Random it seems but painful at times..im gonna ask my dr tues

No, no pain at all...I didn't have any tearing or anything during delivery, so I healed really quickly. I'm just exhausted from losing so much blood. My blood pressure was low at my appointment today, I'm pale, and I'm starting to lose my appetite. Thank goodness for DH, he's been such a huge help...he works from home & pretty much makes his own hours, so he's been able to get up during the night with DD so I can rest. I feel awful but I just have a really hard time waking up =\

That sounds awful... I did tear and got stitched. . Seemed like he stitched for longer than delivery. .. like 10_15 minutes and he numbed me twice. So maybe that's it.. guess I'll find out soon enough. .. im just glad the bleeding stopped for me around 4 weeks. .

Not sure if I given an update on Natalie's 2 month appointment that was on January 28th or not, but just in case I didn't!

She went from 7 1/2 lbs at her 1 month checkup to 12 lbs 2 oz and is now 22 inches long. Poor thing had to get 4 shots as well at the appointment, but she won't have another checkup until 4 months.

I went and got Valentines day pictures taken of her today and they turned out soo cute! Geez this little girl is growing way to fast.

I can't believe it, but Izaak is two months old! Breast feeding is still challenging, but I'm chugging along and so far have refused to give up.

He had his 2 month checkup on Thursday 1/31. He's growing so much. Was 5lb 15oz, 18.75in at birth and is now 9lb 6.5oz, 20.5in. Still a little guy, but growing just the same and is doing great developmentally as well. He did well with his shots at first, but by the time we got home, he was crying for a solid hour before I got him calmed down again. Poor guy. Thankfully he's feeling better now.

I had my 6 week checkup a couple weeks ago and everything went well there. All healed up and bleeding is over with. Got started on the minipill and so far that's going well for me, which is a relief given my bad history with hormonal bc.

How has your first week back been?

I went back the 30th (last wednesday) and it's been good so far! Just wish I had more sleep to run off of and I have A MILLION things to do there! Spending my already limited breaks pumping during the day so I am losing 40 minutes a day of plan/work time. Still saves us lots of money by not using formula but it's a job!

My husband is a SAHD now so I have no reservations about leaving the boys during the day. I love my job and being a mom. Just a little challenging managing both right now. I'm sure it will get easier!  

I see this thread hasn't moved much in a while. Just felt like updating.  

This is Dexter. He will be 2 months on Thursday. His expressions are really coming out! Getting some rolls finally!

I've had a few struggles and wanted to stop but it was really just during his growthspurts. The more they're on the more you'll make. But it will take a few days or a week to kick in so it does get VERY frustrating and tiring!!! I was taking 10 fenugreek pills a day and having a large bowl of oatmeal. Kept my breasts emptied (whether by baby or pumping) so my body knew it had to keep producing more and more. I'm doing well now I think. Freezer stash is minimal though so I'd like to pump more at a time at work. Working on that....
