ically because everybody tells me if the baby's crying there's a reason so has a fire at my house I'm not really finding the reason so that's why. Also I don't like to see 2_4 year old kids with pacifiers or possibly nipple confusion.

Quoting Cole's Mommy ♥:" How is everyone doing?"

We are doing good here. Natalie just turned 6 weeks old on Tuesday! She is becoming a little chunker for sure! She is sleeping good during the night, about every 3-4 hours on average though sometimes she will sleep an extra hour or so. At her 1 month appointment she weighed 7lbs 12 oz, her 2 month check up is on the 28th so I'm excited to see how much she has grown since then. I started back to work on the 2nd of this month, which was really hard to do and I'm still having a hard time. Every day though it does get a little easier in a sense, but I would much rather be able to stay home and care for her. My boyfriend and I are in the process of planning a trip to Puerto Rico to go visit his family since they have yet to meet Natalie. We are hoping to go the last week of March, just gotta talk to my boss to make sure I can get it off. I'm excited to get away for awhile.

Hey ladies! How's everyone doing? I hope well. Saw the news the other day & there's a deadly flu going around, adults are dying! It's all over the U.S except in the West. Keep your babies indoors & away from sick family!

I took Carter's when he was two and he had no problem- they both exclusively breastfed & had no problems with confusion. Good luck,

Can take a while for them to get used to it.

I am waiting until at least 6 weeks to introduce paci. We had lot of issues BFing DS1 and introducing the paci too early was part of the problem. I just want to make sure feeding and my milk is completely established. Gus currently uses me as a paci... Good excuse to sit on the couch and cuddle.

Same here. I need Vincent & SO to get it this week. Jovany is going to be 2 months on the 29th so he will have his shots soon!

Hope y'all are doing great in here! Just wanted to pop in & say hello. I'm busy busy these days!!

School started back Monday. Work starts back on the 28th.

Mallory had her 1 month check up 2 days ago. She went from 8lbs 8oz 20 3/4" at birth to being 10lbs 14 oz 21 3/4"! Her formula has been switched to soy. She's still breast feeding at each feed, as well as getting her formula. & I also think she officially has colic like her brother did! The past week 1/2 from 6pm-midnight is all crying   except for tonight!! NO complaints but she did fabulous ALL day!

Darn the colic!

Since I cut out dairy Dexter hasn't had any more crying fits. Hope it stays that way! Him being awake at nighttime is killer enough! lol I'm sorry love

Luckily I DID get Mallory to switch her days & nights so she is okay there, now it's just the crying!!!! So that's why I let her just sleep with me so that I KNOW we'll get sleep but it's a terrible habit. I think I might try the bassinet or her crib again tonight & just see what happens. But at least she is awake during the day more now.

& I'm glad cutting out the dairy helped him although that has to be brutal on you!

We had a rough night last night too. He wasn't full blown crying but it was a painful wimper sound. .like gassy. . He stayed up until 4... then up by 630_7.. got an hour sleep in his rock n play so that was good. . I guess. . My back and body is so sore from holding him while I try to sleep. I'm happy for these boards though bc it is all reassuring that nothing is really wrong. . We met daddy for lunch today and now LO is asleep on my chest

He would sleep HOURS at night if I held him but DH won't allow it. It is a scary habit and I've accidently fallen asleep many of times with him on the couch, oops! I know others do it but we're not risking it. Though, I do see the couch differently as the bed lol DH is a messy sleeper. I can wake up in the same position I went to sleep in!
