Ya.. well I just posted a new one about my "progress" today and he was at the appointmen, so I'm hoping he will change his mind now.. And the doctor also felt baby's head soo and moved up my appt so i think hubby is thinking twice now... still praying, but ya.. i definitely agree with the spite thing.. I was hoping to have my son early anyway, but now if he would go still I would also would hope to have him outta spite too.. not nice, but he should think about that as a real possibility when making this decision.. this pregnancy isnt gonna last forever...

Would he be upset if he didnt go and you didnt have the baby? I wouldnt want him to go but would leave the decision up to him. With no guilt tripping or anything. I'd tell him what I want him to do but understand that this is also important to him and suggest going another time, maybe after the baby is born.

My sister was a week overdue and just needed a little kick start. My nephew was born in a matter of hours. No meds

I'm over it I guess.. It will be something he has to deal with either way but the baby is only gonna be born once.. and he swears he dsnt want more kids. He missed the birth of his other son, 17 years ago, so i would just think he would not wanna risk it again. If I end up in L&D all alone, he will also have to deal with the resentment I have for him along with his guilt.. I can't imagine the guilt he'd feel the other way from not seeing his cousin could even remotely compare to either of those things.

Im just ESTATIC with my progress today, and gonna just embrash and relish the fact my son will be here SOON....

so just curious.. i took the tour of our hospital today finally.. and the nurse said, I am not required to stay the 48 hrs if everything is ok.. and could be discharged in as little as 24hours..

for ya'll delivering in hospital, are ya'll planning to stay the 48hours no matter what??

I have to squish as much of it as possible in there. I haven't gotten my pump out or anything yet bc I want him to only know the boob right now. He's starting to open his mouth up wider on his own so that's helpful! It was hurting pretty bad the 2nd/3rd days but it's not a cringe/grit my teeth EVERY time like it was. Not as frequent any more lol


A few friends/my sister told me to let a little breastmilk dry on my nipples after he's done feeding. I think that has helped them stay healed! After I let it dry I put pure lanolin on them. I need bigger bras though! These aren't doing my babies any good! Too SMALL! lol

I would be very upset if my DH missed the birth. Extremely mad!

I stayed about 36. They told me I could go in 24 hours but I had an hour drive home and 24 hours would have been 6-7pm that we left. I didn't want to drive in the dark home. We had him Friday evening and went home Sunday afternoon.

ya i think that is a huge factor and makes sense.. bc if i go in at 2 am or something crazy.. i am not gonna be leaving at 2 am the following day, but i can see where if i go in around 10am.. that i would wanna be out by the next evening.. we only live 3 miles from hospital..

At ours, it's not necessarily a full 48 hours (as in, you have to leave at the exact time you gave birth), but two mornings after delivery.

contractions are less then 5 mins apart. hospital said i am in labor!off i go!

OMG I love pineapple but I don't think I could eat 7! I'd never eat it again lol
