Have you tried Primrose Pills? I've heard of people putting those pills in their vagina & it softens your cervix... idk if it really works. You can get them at a vitamin store. According to a lot of women on BabyCenter it really works. All I know is that those ladies try to induce all early. Crazy ladies! lol

Had an ultrasound for fetal size today. He's estimated at 9 lbs 8 oz which is probably pretty accurate since my first was 9 lbs 11 oz when he was born. Doctor wants to induce me but the hospital won't allow it until I am 39 weeks which will be Saturday. I don't want a 10 lb baby! I barely got my first out and it looks like this one is going to be bigger. Doc also said I am at a 4, almost 5 and my bag is bulging. Hopefully he will come before my next appt on his own since I have been progressing every week. I was less dilated when my water broke last time on it's own.

Those were my stats today, (4.5cm, 70% bulging water lol.) They went ahead and swept me since I've been contracting and not sleeping & today is 38 weeks for me. hopefully it will do something but I'm not too hopeful.

I haven't been contracting that I know of. Never felt it with my last until they were really strong. I have had a very hard time sleeping lately though. One of the doctors seems to think I won't make it to my next appt but I'm not so sure. I'm hoping she's right but not gonna hold my breath.

Baby...still...sleeping.

This is "daddy time." Where he watches the baby while I sleep and I wake up when it's time to eat again and daddy goes to bed for the night. Guarantees me a good 2 hours before my night time shift lol.

It's been 2 hours since he's eating last so I'm not going to bed until he wakes up, eats, and is satisfied for me to go to bed. But DH just said he has stuff to do (grad student...finals week....) Uhh....he isn't going to sleep after he wakes up again. He's been asleep since like...all day lol. Someone is going to have to stay up with him. I'm guessing that someone will be me.

Oh well. I'll enjoy my sleepless days/nights. He's 100% worth it.

So.. I need to know who would be pissed at their SO for this. .. so my dr appointment is tomorrow so I will know more then.. but for now..heres the deal.. my husband wants to take a 3_4 drive this wknd to Houston. . Im 38wks today.. at that point im down to 10 days.. obviously im not going w him.. I have no family here, all in Missouri. So he is gonna be driving and leaving me w 3 kids age 13 13 11 and less than 10 days from due date. Would u be pissed? Oh the reason. . His cuzn just got outta jail. Been locked up for 8 years since he was 18 and hubby didn't visit him one time. . Now wants to see him. So I asked him if he would regret missing the birth of his son. . His response. He won't be born then. .. REALLY? ? HE KNOWS THIS?? Should I really not be concerned?

Natalie is the same way, she only wakes up if she needs fed or changed.

Yeah, I've been inserting the primrose oil pills every night too.

Ok! Induction booked.

Going in Sunday night to have cervidil inserted, which will soften my cervix and I'll stay there the night. Monday morning my waters will be broken and pitocin will be started, then it's on!
