Induction on the 17th. When I think about it really, it was only hard between week 40-41. Now I just have to shrug and am waiting for the induction.

I had my son at 39+5 so I really thought this babe would come earlier too. Apparently not!

That being said, I've tried just about every method in the book to induce myself...

Bouncing on fit ball, fenugreek, super hot curry, blow jobs (yes, this is one!), hot baths, walking, castor oil, smashing the RRL tea, blue cohosh herbal remedy, cleaning house on all fours, squatting/lunging all the time, acupressure, Bowen therapy, S&S (getting another one tonight, hopefully), nipple stim, orgasms ... urgh everything!

Only thing we haven't tried is sex. I've been bugging the SO but he's just not keen. He doesn't like pregnancy sex, but I'll try again the night before the induction. Hopefully he'll be more receptive to it then.

haha.. ya.. hopefully he will be into it.. tell him it is better for your baby that you and he have sex to "force" you to go into labor naturally instead of having the induction... My hubby and i FINALLY had sex the other day after like 2 months of NOTHING... and i teased him and was like .. after all that, no contractions, no baby, no nothing.. so quit worrying about it. .and let's have more sex!!... I also use the explanation to hubby that I need him to help keep me from tearing and stretch me some.. Also, maybe tell your hubby that is THE ONE THING YALL HAVENT DONE and maybe that's the ONE thing that will work..

I just went for a long walk with DH and then lost a ton more pink-tinged mucus (I lost some last week too)...hoping that's a good sign.

I'm hoping to get another stretch and sweep at my appointment tonight and then after I'm going to drive to this walking track that has a billion stairs and just walk up and down them until I drive myself silly.

I had my appt today. I am 2 and 1/2 cm 60% effaced and baby is at -3 station

Have you tried fresh pineapple?

Had my appointment today. Baby is still breech, fluid is 9.6 dropped a little. Another bbp of Friday and Tuesday. Guess we will see what next week brings. I did have a blood draw due to protein in urine, swelling and headaches but my blood pressure is fine.
