I'm in l&d.. Been cramping & almost passed out at work. I'm getting checked out to make sure baby Violet is okay.

I was in labor! What I leaked when I woke up yesterday at 2am was my "water breaking" The rest of it just didn't gush out bc it was all behind him. I progressed all day and he was born at 6:08 pm last night (12-7-12).

This is Dexter.



He was 7lbs 3oz and 20 3/4 inches long. (2 inches longer than big bro and nearly a lb smaller.) I will make a labor story later. It was quite different than my first.

Dexter is snuggling with his grandma right now, big bro playing on the floor, and daddy is sleeping (he's sick   ).

I was dehydrated- my heart rate was up, she's perfect & expected to be 8 lbs. having contractions but unless I've progressed since Wednesday when they check me I'm being sent home. Thanks for all the well wishes.

I was there last weekend with the dehydration. Really sucks, I'm sorry! Hope you feel better! My contractions stopped once I got fluids.
