just wondering if anyone decided to get a brazilian wax in preparation for the big delivery day or for any other reason really...i just did.. and it hurt like crazy.. but i figured it would be good practice for me in trying to deal w the pain of a natural child birth... The lady swears "next time" will be easier.. jw if anyone has gone back for a next time, and was it easier? seems like for my eyebrows that is the case.. but idk... maybe my next 6 weeks of smoothness will offset the pain that i will remember forever it seems..

not the answer i was hoping for it.. is it kinda like childbirth? meaning the result outweighs the pain? I am thinking it would have to be for people to keep doing it.. unless those people that enjoy pain and torture are just "into that sorta thing"

I've had brazillians for 7 years. Got one a couple weeks ago but it's not '6 weeks of smoothness' it's about 1-2 weeks and then stubble starts to appear. It definitely gets less painful each time you ago, your skin gets desensitised and when you go next the hair will be a better length to wax off - so less pain. It's also all about the waxer. My waxer is fast and efficient so less than 15 mins.

Leg waxes are the painful waxes for me. I lay there closing my eyes trying to blink back tears. Weird how the human body is!

I only ever got it done twice. Both times were before I went on holiday. Wouldn't do it again though!

I"m sure you'll have a baby in your arms soon!!! If I had seen my doc 2 days ago I'm sure she would have pushed induction too. (Well, not so much push but seriously suggest...)
