It's really exciting. I get excited everytime I wee so I can check my underwear/toilet paper for a bloody show. I'm so easy amused, lol.

I didn't lose mine last time until my waters broke, then lost my plug then contractions started. It all happened within about five mins of each other.

This may sound stupid but if its clear how do you know it's your plus or not just gross discharge?

I wonder this too. Last time I had blood tinged discharge & 15 mins later my water broke. Now its like 1 trip to the bathroom it's white next time it's clear. I don't know what the "plug" looks like :/

I haven't had any lately but I have had the odd gross clear stuff during this pregnancy so wouldn't know if it was my plug or not! Mine had a little blood in it the first time too and I knew that was my plug just cos my waters had broke.

I haven't had any signs of labour yet have you? I didn't with my son though it all just happened one morning. My waters broke and that was it, the contractions started straight away.

Your plug isn't clear. Well, that was my impression. It's normally can be yellowy/ slightly greenish/brownish/reddish.

I've had two bouts of contractions - first one for 3 hours... Turned into nothing. Second round was just one hour and stopped. I'm pretty sure it was my body pushing the baby down so he would engage because he's dropped now.

No signs other than that. My previous labour started exactly the same as yours.

Everytime I move, stand up, get out of bed I am waiting for that gush of fluid. I hate to whinge, but I'm getting really dejected each day that passes and nothing happens   Which is silly really, because I should be getting more excited since each day that passes is a day closer to it happening!

Any weird signs for you?

Do a google image search! Lots of different examples. Don't do it while you're eating though, hahaha.

I haven't had any. The only thing I keep getting is sharp pains down below where she's stretching out and her head is so low it feels like she could drop out! I have had them lots!

I don't think I have ever had Braxton hicks. I say I don't know because my bump is just small and hard all the time!

I have been getting slightly achey right under my bump but I think that's all to do with how low down she is.

No sign of her coming any time soon! But I can't really predict anything as there was no sign with my boy either. He was two days late though.

Ive been having a lot of contractions which have caused me to dilate to 3 but they have been happening for a few weeks and have never regulated! I'm always on edge anxiously curious how it will start this time! Lol. Do they check you in UK for dilation?

No they don't check for dilation here until you are in labour. So wouldnt know if I was dilated or not!

I would hate to be getting contractions and have nothing happen, must be frustrating.

I am excited and nervous at the thought of going into labour. I have my bag packed and ready to go but now I have a little boy already it's different cause I have him to worry about where as before I was just sitting around waiting with nothing to do.

I feel guilty... Everyone's been talking about how they don't want to leave their kids behind when they go to hospital. Truthfully, I'm looking forward to the break. I know I'll miss him, but a couple of toddler free days sounds amazing!

Lol I do know how you feel about needing a break. My little boy has been ill with a cough and cold for weeks and I don't get a minute to myself. My bf is out having a laugh with his mates and I'm stuck at home looking after our son. Once I have this baby I cannot wait to go out with my girlfriends and let my hair down. I know it probably won't be for a good few months as I will not want to leave my little girl. But god men can be so bloody selfish sometimes!

I won't be having much of a break when I have this baby as I'm planning on going home a few hours later if all goes well. I am worried how much hard work its going to be having a baby and a three year old who is constantly wanting my attention though.

Carter is so good, all he wants to do is read or play trucks and he's a happy kid. He isn't hard to manage at all.
