I had zero contractions until the morning I went into labor with my first. Seems to be the same this time around.

The first 4-5 hours I was beginning labor were just menstrual cramp feelings. Didn't even know they were contractions! lol

Really? I had contractions with Landon, time able ones too, but the closest they got were 20 minutes apart. Other than that it was pitocin related from my induction. So it's hard telling! I get the menstrual cramp feelings a lot.

Yeah. I was going to the hospital for my induction (I was a 4, fully effaced, and leaking water). I was sitting at the table eating breakfast and was just like..."Man, this is really weird. I feel like I'm about to start my period again!" Then realized it happened every 5-6 minutes. At the hospital we learned they were contractions lol!

They had me lay down for a couple hours, then gave me pitocin, broke my water and he was out an hour later!

I had contractions from the day before I was fully in labor. One every 30 mins or so, maybe an hour in between a couple. Then they started getting more regular about 1am and lasted every 20 mins til about 2or 3pm and went from there. I went to the hospital about 9pm when they were 3-4 mins apart and I was almost 6cm...my midwife said I can't wait like that this time.

See it's hard to wait though because sometimes you just don't KNOW what's going to happen. Like how were you supposed to know they'd get more regular? KWIM? That's what I'm struggling with. When to actually GO lol

Exactly! I'm gonna talk to her on Friday next week at my next appt. I had no idea I was even in early labor, especially being my first. I'll prob wait til I have 4-6 an hour for 2-3 hours since that's what they say is when you should call. I was only at the hospital 3 hours before my daughter was born so she said I gotta get in quick cuz my history of fast labor and they get quicker each baby most of the time

I've been having alot of contractions the last 2 days too, but mine haven't been much today with alot of relaxation and hydration...I have to get past 37 weeks at least! But I'd rather him wait til closer to the 15th...after that day I will be walking like crazy lol

Shes probably just a good tricker like her brother- she just likes to keep things entertaining!

Yeah I really would like for her to wait until the 21st. That would be ideal   it's probably not helping that I'm still toting around her big brother who is 35 lbs- and still working 40 hours.

Nothing that makes me think she's close- just some pressure. I realllly want her to come on her own- but the 21st my doctor will be inducing if not. I cannot be away from carter on Christmas. I would be scared to have her even at 38 weeks- ive had friends who's babies lungs still weren't fully developed :-/

I think that's why I'm scared of getting induced this time. If my body isn't ready...I could have a labor that is longer than his! I loved my labor with Tristan!!! I don't know what I'd do if I had to feel that bad for more than a few hours lol

That's scary :-( yeah I don't think he'll hold out. I just have so much pressure and contractions. I'd like home to stay in there as long add he needs but sheesh at least be full term! My sister gets here on the 16th for the birth and will be here a week so we are really hoping for that week some time lol. I'll be 39 weeks on the 16th. I work until the 13th,.and work full time and tote around my 21 month old...I'm in the same boat.

I was out shopping from 9-5 last night & the pressure was soooo bad. I'm glad I'm active though- only gained 2 lbs in 5 weeks, was really excited about that

Since my hospital is an hour away.
