Whatever gets my son here safely is okay with me. Knowing when he's coming and getting to skip the pain of contractions are definitely perks to having to have a c/s, though

Quoting Crystal+1:" So not looking forward to next week. I'm scheduled 3am- 10am and then 5pm - 10pm on Thanksgiving day. ... [snip!] ... time to eat and sleep, let alone see my family. Ugh...wish I could just tell em no, I'm not going to work those hours."

That really sucks! I'm sorry you've got to work such crappy hours! I know we're all exhausted at this point - I couldn't imagine having to work those hours being this pregnant!

Just ordered some cloth diaper detergent (couldn't decide what we were doing but I figured I'll prep what I have and make sure washer is clean!) and some cloth breast pads. Not a lot but I figured I can wear them around the house and save myself some money!

I remember going through them SO quickly with my son. And the paper ones stuck to my nipples and HURT taking them off.

Love getting mail <3

I know what you mean about it scaring you. I'm a little hesitant too but it's not like we can skip that part. Funny how we go through something like that and then choose to do it again isn't it? lol

Quoting Freckleface Watermelon:" That is insane!! Are you at least getting holiday pay?! That would make it worth it but they should ... [snip!] ... I was pregnant with my son and they had me work 2-10 on black friday and it wasn't busy at all. Just cleaned up the mess lol"

I'll either be getting holiday pay or overtime. Either way it's time and a half. I've always opened on black Friday since I've worked there but never had hours like this. I really don't know how we're all going to do it. I think all of the full timers are scheduled this way this year. Can't believe Thanksgiving is almost here already though. Seems like we just started November and now it's halfway over. Time is just flying by!

Thanks for the support. I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes. Hopefully my husband will pick up some of the slack at home while I'm working those crazy hours so I don't have to play catch up at home after all that.

My MIL always said I would have enough laundry with all the baby clothes so she went out and bought me a couple huge boxes of the disposable breast pads. It was nice to be able to just toss em when they got yucky. I was going to buy the washable ones until she did that. I still have some of them left from then too. LOL

They are teeny tiny and require zero folding. I will throw them in with whatever load of laundry is going at the time lol

Yea. I didn't think it seemed like a big deal to wash them but I wasn't going to argue if she was gonna buy em for me.

Thanks! Same to you   I'm hoping to stay at home as long as possible and then go to hospital to a midwife lead ward. Would like to have another water birth too as I loved it with my son.
