Do yaw'll have any recipes? I just started feeding my daughter baby food. She will be 5 months on the 11th. She's only doing a few bites cuz she's just getting ready. I'm gonna make food and use jar food. So, far she likes sweet peas and pears.

I like homemade baby food, I think this is the most natural and most nutritious.
But now I use only the most basic materials cooking food, the baby is very like to eat.
At noon today, I made the noodles for the baby. stew good chicken soup boiled noodles, when the noodles cook very soft, the soup changed fewer, to join the already cooked and chopped cabbage and chicken livers, add some olive oil. The taste is very good.click to enter text

I made applesauce for my baby by cutting up raw apples and blended with breastmilk. It immediately turned brown. Do I cook them first or add anything?

Should I cook them or puree them raw?

I peel core and steam them till their soft first then put them in the blender with the same water I steamed them in so its got the nutrients all together in the puree. I wouldn't blend raw anything for your baby Cuz of the bacteria that's on them.

im about to start making baby food for DS who will be 6 months this week (cant believe that!) and i was wondering if any of you ladies have given your kids fruit or veggies first instead of the rice? i know you dont have to give them the rice but from what ive heard/read most moms (even ones who make the food) still give their LO's rice/cereal first. so just looking for some advice/opinions on that! TIA
PS i dont know if im just a nerd or what but im pretty excited about making his food! haha
