Quoting Razor Clam:“ That's funny.....Does he give you a look?”
Quoting Asher:“ Always. "WTF did you just put in my mouth bitch?" Thats the look ”
Quoting Cassie's Taxi:“ I applaud you ladies. I dont know where I would find the time and energy. I want to make her food but ... [snip!] ... does the food keep? If I prepared the food on a Saturday, like some peas, how long would they last in the frig/freezer? Thanks.”
Quoting Razor Clam:“ Every vegetable I have made for my daughter (5 months tomorrow), she absolutly hated...But if I feed ... [snip!] ... she eats it up like no tomorrow...Why? What am I doing wrong?...I really want her to eat fresh veggies...Any suggestions?”
Quoting Kailyn's Mama:“ I think the fridge is only a couple days - but they stay good in the freezer for months. I think the ... [snip!] ... done I put the zucchini in the steamer and by the time I am done pureeing the yellow squash the zucchini is ready to be pureed.”
Quoting Kailyn's Mama:“ What foods have you made so far?”
Quoting Razor Clam:“ Green beans, carrots, yellow squash, sweet potato, potato.... I think I'm gonna try zuchini tonight...Maybe mix in some fruit to sweeten it up a tad??”Did you strain the green beans, and peel the zuchini? That may be one reason. I would try acorn, or butter nut squash, or applesauce. They are all favoriable flavors. Then with my son what I did, was mix the one he liked with the one he didn't. Also it takes 15-17 trys for them to know if they don't like something, so I would keep trying...
Quoting Razor Clam:“ You guys are on top of it. I didn't strain anything. I should try that...Has anyone ever used the cusineart ... [snip!] ... just all eat together...I take a bite of my food, she gets a bite of her food....Hopefully she will get use to fresh veggies.”That is it. Jamil has a hard time with the food if it isn't strained. I don't know about the sweet potato, mine came out very thin, and a good consistancy. How did you make it? I dont know anythign about the cusineart. I have a magic bullet. It is very easy and nice for baby food. I would try the acorn squash, or one of the other winter squashes, because they puree very well as do apples, The carrots have to be pretty soft, and don't use the same water you boiled/steamed them in. Or the flavor is to strong.
