Question about announcements

Is there really a difference between sending an announcement to everyone and just your parentank?

Since I've seen announcements that said "to everyone", yet I know others who haven't gotten them, it leads me to believe that no matter which option you choose, both just send the announcements to those in your parentank.

Is this correct?

to everyone means it shows up on your public profile... to your parent tank only is just to your parent tank..

I had been wondering the same thing.

Sadie's right. If you send the announcement to everyone it sends an alert to people in your PT (or people who have PTed you, i can't remember which...maybe both?) but still shows up on your profile. If it's PT only it doesn't show up on your profile to anyone but people YOU have PTed (i hope   )

So it's largely the same, except that it can be viewed by those not on your PT (but doesn't go out to them as an annoucement)...

if i choose "everyone"...it shows up as "recent announcements" on my public profile.- and still goes to everyone in your parenttank

If i mark "parenttank only" it only goes out to your parenttank..doesnt show up on your profile
