A lot of tugging and and pressure. It's not awful just uncomfortable. I also didn't get the twilight anesthesia

I got the anesthesia that makes you pretty much out of it without knocking you out. I vaguely remember the procedure but I definitely dont remember any type of pain, it was very quick and I felt completely back to normal (physically) the next day. Took about a week to myself to mope and come to terms with everything.

Were you kind of torn between getting one or just the hormone change made you mope around?

I was 10 weeks when I got an abortion. They gave me midol about 30 minutes before and and injection in my cervix when I went in for the procedure. So I didn't feel anything from it until the medication wore off then I was sore. It was like really really bad period cramps.

I wouldnt say torn, I knew it was best for my situation but it still wasnt EASY. Like oh I just had an abortion im gonna go back to doing whatever I usually do. However i'm sure some woman CAN do that and im not judging them, just for me it was bittersweet. But after a week I pretty much told myself to suck it up, I knew it was for the best and I wasn't going to let it ruin me. Ever since then I am peaceful about my choice.

I believe I am getting the twilight anesthesia or versed? I am not sure, I just know they said " light sleep IV anesthesia"

As soon as I found out I was pregnant, which was pretty much last night. I took two pregnancy tests I immediately knew an abortion was the choice for me. However, I think the hormone change might mess with my emotions cause I have depression...but not in a sense that I am losing a baby or anything. I dont know how to explain it i just know i want to get this taken care of as soon as possible

The sooner the better. I would at least try to make arrangements to have a few days to yourself just in case you do have issues from the hormones and what not. At least for me I prefer to be alone during times like that lol.

yeah for sure, my mother said she would help me with my son, he is 2 and he is a handful! My mother shared with me she had an abortion after she left my abusive father. My mother has always told me abortion was wrong and murder but then she shared this with me last night. I am kind of mind blown by it all but it doesnt effect my decision.

My place wanted $75 extra for it. I have a high pain tolerance so I declined it. I wasn't really sore afterwards just Tired. I was 9 weeks when I aborted BTW.

I don't have a high pain tolerance but I take tramadol and flexeril for pain and they dont do anything for me so i am kind of scared of the pain

my mom has always had those views on abortion too, but when I told her what was going on with me she was amazingly supportive and took me to my appointment and everything, thank goodness.
