First period in over a year?

If you haven't had a period in over a year and finally get one is it hell?? I just started my period and this will only be my second once since I had Audrianna 18 months ago.

Actually the first period I had (at 10 months pp) was very light, and lasted 7 days. It was odd, but nice, since my periods are normally super heavy, and feel like they last forever.

Surprisingly, no. A lot of it was brown, but it wasn't a bad period. The cramps were bad, but I think that's because I had gone a year without 'em... so I wasn't used to them anymore.

Sweet!! After I had Cylus my periods sucked! like super heavy bleeding and horrid cramps. I'm on implanon so I didn't expect my period at all since I was just spotting last week (which is usually all I do)

I've been cramping bad for a month now so I'm sure it can't get any worse. lol

Midol doesn't work for me :'( Sad sad day. I just took some ibprofen and hopefully it will actually help. I was wondering why I was craving chocolate.  

After my daughter I had a normal cycle until she was 3 months old then didn't have one for 4 months. Then had one every two weeks. Then didn't have one at all for nearly a year. Something about hormones. It's scary as hell especially if you're sexually active with or without birth control. If you're on any type of birth control it can affect it as well.

I feel so sorry for you   I'm like a pill addict on my period lol. But Ibuprofen works for me, too, if I don't have midol  

I didn't get a period until last month when cliff was exactly 10 months, and im still bfing him a good bit! It was seriously on v-day and horrible! I had clots and heavy bleeding for 8 days then like a switch got flipped it was over. Haven't had one this month or felt any signs of one coming. It's made scheduling my Mirena insertion a nightmare! Lol

yea my body is so immune to meds it sucks! Tylenol is a no go anymore, ibprofen usually doesn't do jack smurf because I was on 2,300 mg every 2 hrs when I was in 8th grade for gall bladder issues, midol quit working when I was in high school from taking it so much for my periods even on birth control. GAH! lol

2300?! Holy smurf. I take 800mg and I'm golden ,lol.

yeap...it sucked. 6 Months of feeling like I was literally having everything ripped form inside of me through my spine before I got a diagnosis. By the time I did the doctor was worried if they put me on something else it would spark a gall bladder attack that would kill me.   I was as pale as a ghost and told my mom just to give me a gun and I would shoot myself because I couldn't stand the pain anymore.

I'm kinda nervous to have my 1st period when I get my Mirena taken out. I've only had 3 periods since I had my son and he's 20 months old...


Oh and I've had my Mirena for a little over a year..
