in yours baby is on the right but placenta is mostly on the left hmmmm

According to this website, it's what side of the uterus the PLACENTA attaches to. I'm not even sure how you tell in most pictures.

If it's the placenta then that half circle on the left side/top is it and that **supposedly** means boy.
