sex of the baby?

so i am a first time mom and i was woundering how soon could i posibly be able to find out the sex if the baby cooraperates? thanks!!!

Maybe 16 weeks

I found out at 20 weeks, usually your doctor does a US between 18-20 weeks and you can find out. Sometimes people find out sooner.

18 weeks but have it confirmed as well.. or you could get an upset later on

I'm finding out at 14-15.

I found out at 16wks2days. I was told he was definitely a boy. It really depends on your baby though. Their growth rates are different with every pregnancy.

depends on the doc. At 14 weeks they couldnt tell for Arie but 18 they said she was a girl. It was confirmed at 20, 22, 28 and then 36 weeks

Haha, baby's co-operation is a great factor in finding out! I went to find out the gender at 21 weeks and my little ones legs were crossed!!! I was pretty disappointed at first...I was so pumped to find out and better prepare myself! I'm actually happy that it is going to be a surprise now (I don't get another ultrasound) All the anticipation and guessing is gunna make it a surprise definetly worth waiting for !! But it's ll up to baby so make sure you're prepared if you're unable t find out! Good luck!

you cant always tell by then. the boys testes dont generally come down by then so you may "know" but get a very big shock later. Best time is about 20 weeks cause by then the genitals are all there

I found out at 16 weeks.

The doctor's office that I go to only does 3d/4d ultrasounds. The receptionist I spoke to said they'll poke around as long as necessary to be able to determine.

if i had another baby i was thinking about not finding out the sex. but i had SOOO many ultrasounds when i was pregnant with faith.. and i knew what i was looking for so it would be hard not to figure it out myself with a second baby

i wish we had 3d/4d ultrasounds.......
