pain on my left ribcage area

Ladies, is this normal?
I am 21 weeks, My left ribcage..the bottom tip hurts!!! i have to stretch out to get just a little comfort... is this normal at 21 weeks? 

Yea. Could be where you're little one is. Applying pressure on the area. Trying walking or laying on the opposite side and see if that helps. If anything, try taking a nice shower/bath to help the pain.

Hee hee oh yeah! It's normal! That's my daughter's favorite place to go when I sit down. She likes to lodge herself up in my ribcage and latch herself on.

Yes...This is my second pregnancy and I'm 32 weeks right now and I have this severe pain in my right rib cage (I had the SAME thing with my first pregnancy, just not as bad)... The only way if feels better is when I lay down. But the docs think that it is my uterus pinching a nerve. The skin is all sensative and it feels like a bruise. Good luck.  

It's normal and might even get worse, unfortunately. I have the same exact issue, on my right side and have had it for about 6 weeks. My midwife said the baby was probably getting into that spot, and it might even be bruising a bit inside, which is what hurts. [because she keeps bumping it, or whatever the heck she does in there...]

I usually just massage the area a bit with my fingers to get her out.
The best advice I could give is DON'T OVER-EAT!!! I went out with some friends and ate a whole bunch and literally thought my ribcage was going to split!! I almost went to the hospital, it was so painful. The area was sensitive to begin with and the organs are all crammed together in there with baby.... But maybe I'm the only one that would make that mistake, but just a tip

Ohh yes! I have that too!! I had a ridiculous pain on my right side inmy back and front under my ribs, I went to the doctors today, it was just my little muffin, in a ball right there. My little munchkin. I just massaged the area to try and get her out!!!!

i just went to the doctor about this they told me that the baby bruised the inside of my ribs. but i know how much it can hurt there are sometimes that i can not open the damn shower curtain but it can be very painful

this might sound really stupid... but I thought my uterus was only up to my navel... so where is the baby curling up??? the pain is in the bottom tip of my left ribcage... I feel the baby move a lot in my lower abdomen, right above my pelvic bone......(way low) ??? hmm
