Fever

Hunter is a little over a yr and has his first fever... well REAL fever. He was acting fine all day till about 7ish. I got home and took his temp and it was 100.7... gave him a bath and it went to 99.8. I gave him tylenol. isn't it that you call the dr. if it gets over 101? or is that when you're suppose to take him to the hospital? I remember them saying it on that video they make you watch before u leave the hospital lol

I think you are supposed to call the doctor if the fever is over 102.

and i think that changes after a year old. but i always call the doc when i am worried it cant hurt.

Just an Update. At about 1 am I took Hunter's temp and it was 103.5! We called the dr. offices and they paged a nurse at All Childrens and they said we shouldn't worry about taking him to a hospital or anything till it reaches 105  . we gave him tylenol then about 2 hours later his temp went back down to 100. then this morning it was 102 and we called the dr. office and they said if he's not ne better to bring him in tomorrow but his temp is only 99 now. Thank goodness. His poor little body felt like it was on fire!
