how did your labor start?

I've felt a little "off" all day today. Nausea, feeling like I'm gonna throw up or have diarrhea, pressure, off and on back aches...

I felt fine at around 4pm so I took a walk, less than 1/2 a mile. About 30 minutes ago I went to the bathroom to pee, and had THE WORST diarrhea of my entire life. I'm having some contractions off and on (not the kind that people describe as stopping me in my tracks) with some cramping. Just wondering...

On a side note, I had a dream last night that he came. Weighed 8lb 6oz, had DARK blonde hair and DARK blue eyes.

ive been feelin the same way all day =/ but i just think its the taco bell i ate last night but who knows?? i hope you start feelin better im sorry i dont have any answers for you!

They are signs that your body is getting ready for labor, however it can still be a while. Hopefully you don't feel like that for too long. My Dr had to give me a prescription for the nausea this week. Im making no progress.

Also make sure you're staying really hydrated.

When I went into pre term labor, I sort of felt like that. I felt like crap.

When I went into real labor, I felt fine all day, then I got in the shower and my water broke.

i have been feeling this way for about a few weeks but got worse the past few days. I heard that when you get nausious and all that your dialating ... dont know how true that is.

ive been having a lot of diarhhea too
and im just feeling pretty icky...although ive been having BH i havent been having real contractions...I think it is a sign of your body preparing for Labor
Everyone is different so its really hard to tell whats going on.

hey, I felt like that ( same exact way ) about 2 wks before I had my son. My actual contractions started at 4:30 am but labor was a breeze....too much to type so you can check my labor story!! Good luck!!

When I went into labor, I felt fine the whole day, but later that nite, we went to the movies, and I had HORRIBLE gas and the baby was moving the most she moved the hole pregnancy I think...lol...

We got home, and went to bed...litearlly 10 minutes later I had to pee, and I saw my mucus plug...almost instantly I started getting contractions...two hours later, I was in L&D for contractions 4 min. apart...they wouldnt admit me because I wasnt dialated...so I was in labor 24hrs at home before they finally admitted me.....

of course everyones labor starts different/ i contracted for 5 days non stop the day before my water broke the contractions went to my back. I swear what made my water break was when i had my husband put tiger balm on my lower back. Its a muscle relaxer and not even 15 minutes later feeling great after the balm my water broke.

oh yeah on top of that i was peeing and pooping like crazy those five days. i couldn't get enough water in me

I felt fine up until the past couple of days, last Monday I was 2cm.

How stressful! I was 2cm last Monday, and I lost my plug about2 weeks ago. Micah has been moving more the past couple of days than he has in a loooong time. We won't even bring up the gas issue... DH said I farted on him in my sleep the other night, then laughed. LOL

OMg I have been drinking water like there is NO moreo n earth LOL. I cant get enough. The poops well that was last week LOL. Peeing is every 5-10 mins >>> Oh what women go through !!!! LOL

I hear that. I didn't even have time to put my bowl away after eating soup before I was in the bathroom. I didn't have any idea it could travel that fast...
